Each and every one of our reporters is handpicked and certified by the National Court Reporters Association and has made a commitment to invest in their profession by participating in ongoing educational opportunities to stay abreast of changing trends in technology.

NCRA Certifications Explanation:

  • RPR (Registered Professional Reporter) – certification of proficiency at speeds of 180 words per minute for literary dictation, 220 words per minute for jury charge, and 225 words per minute for testimony, all at 95% accuracy, with additional written knowledge testing.
  • RMR (Registered Merit Reporter) - certification of proficiency at speeds of 200 words per minute for literary dictation, 240 words per minute for jury charge, and 260 words per minute for testimony, all at 95% accuracy, with additional written knowledge testing.
  • CRR (Certified Realtime Reporter) – certification of proficiency for realtime writing for five minutes at speeds of 180 words per minute with 96% accuracy.
  • CCP (Certified CART Provider) – certification of proficiency for realtime writing with CART display for five minutes at speeds of 180 words per minute with 96% accuracy, with additional written knowledge testing.
  • CLVS (Certified Legal Video Specialist) – training, written knowledge testing and production testing administered by NCRA.

Additional Certifications Explanation:

  • Certified LiveNote Reporter – training, technical skills testing and certification administered by LiveNote™ enabling a skilled reporter to connect and troubleshoot a realtime feed of the testimony throughout a deposition to participating attorneys' laptops, as well as provide Internet realtime through LiveNote Stream Manager software.
  • Certified Multimedia Expert - graduates of this program possess the skills of facilitating realtime streaming of video and audio depositions, exhibit linking, media delivery options, producing LEF and Publisher Bundle files, and using online repositories for transcripts, exhibits and multimedia files.
